Learn how to create amazing AI-powered stories
1. Configure API Key
Add your Odyssey API key to the .env.local file
2. Enter a Prompt
Describe the scene you want to create. Be descriptive about setting, characters, and mood
3. Start Story
Click "Start Story" to begin the AI-powered video generation
4. Interact & Guide
Enter directions while the story plays to influence the narrative in real-time
Be Descriptive
Include details about lighting, camera angles, colors, and atmosphere
Use Present Tense
"A character walks" creates smoother animations than "A character walked"
Set the Scene
Start with location, time of day, and weather for better context
Guide the Action
Use clear, simple directions for character movements and interactions
Build Gradually
Start with establishing shots, then move to specific actions
End & Save
Click "End Story" to stop the session and automatically save it
View Stories
Access your saved stories from the "Stories" page in the navigation
Download Videos
Download any story as a video file to share or edit elsewhere
Delete Stories
Remove unwanted stories to free up space. Select multiple for bulk deletion
Connection Issues
Ensure you're on localhost or HTTPS. WebRTC requires secure connections
Brave Browser
Disable WebRTC blocking in Brave Shields or try Chrome/Firefox/Safari
Video Not Playing
Check browser console (F12) for errors. Refresh the page and try again

Use the built-in connection diagnostics on the create page to troubleshoot
